One way to help your furnace to work more efficiently is to change the filters regularly or clean them depending on what type of filter you have. The filters need to be checked periodically to see when they need to be changed. Also make sure the air flow arrow is pointing the correct way.
Our new state-of-the-art cleaning is almost near completion. Once it is finished First Restoration Services will have equipment under one roof that no other restoration company has in all of North Carolina.
We are working on a job in Candler, NC where the gas logs put smoke through out the home. The inside of the home and all of the contents are being cleaned to remove the smoke and soot. I went to the job to check on the cleaning technicians and meet with the homeowners. The homeowners told me that they were very impressed with the technicians. They said that they were very polite and very hard workers!!!
We were privileged to participate in the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Asheville , NC. The ladies and gentlemen that attended are forever available to us to protect and serve. The next time you see a member of law enforcement, remember that fact! It is a high honor to partner with this esteemed group. First Restoration Services were among the Corporate Captains of this years conference.
A tradition here at First Restoration Services is to have a monthly breakfast with the guys. This month Shelley and myself prepared breakfast for the guys, here in the shop. Pancakes, sausage, and fruit rounded out the meal with all the toppings for the pancakes. It’s always fun to get with the guys and share a meal together. Afterwards we went to the confrence room and viewed some funny videos that have been sent to me by various people. It’s fun to get together with no agenda in mind. 
I know this doesn’t have anything to do with Water Damage or any of the many other services we offer, but John and I ate at Burgermeister’s this past Friday for lunch. Here recently I have taken a liking to “Carolina Burgers”, so I ordered one. That was the biggest and the best Carolina I have ever had. The size, taste, presentation, and everything else was amazing. The service was great also. Highly recommended.
Training is what sets us apart from our competition. We have an on going training program. Everyday there is a 15 minute training blip on any of a number of items. This day we were going over the correct use of a 75kw generator. The uses, the hookups, the dangers etc.
This picture is a good example of what happens to 2×4′s when they are on fire. This example was coated with a sealer to hold down the odor while wating on the new trusses
