First Restoration Services makes every effort to stay at the fore front of the restoration industry. To this end, we are involved in industry-specific associations including, but not limited to: the Restoration Industry Association (RIA), The CLean Trust formerly the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC), National Institute of Decontamination Specialist (NIDS), and the Mid-South Professional Cleaners Association (MSPCA).

First Restoration Services is also proud to say that various staff members have attained the Certified Restorer, Commercial Drying Specialist, Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician, Applied Microbial Restoration Technician, Applied Structural Drying Technician, Water Damage Restoration Technician, Green Risk Professional, Certified Crime and Trauma Scene Bio-Recovery Technician and Water Loss Specialist designations. All of these certifications are highly specialized,  most require numerous prerequisites be met before even attempting them, and are very limited in number. For example, there are only 9 Certified Restorers in the entire state of North Carolina; two of those 9 work for First Restoration Services. Our staff has both the classroom and on-the-job experience needed to know how to take care of your disaster from start to finish.
